Lace Thief’s deep connection to people and place fuel her work. She explores connections between youth and future, documented through honest vocals, unfolding synth and sentimental instrumentals, held together with an indie/folk embrace.

Lace Thiefs debut album ‘Inheritance’ releases on 25th April 2026. The album emerges from a story of loss, holding onto the memories of loved ones and following the reverberating impact they have even after parting ways. The album explores the parts of ourselves we inherit from the people around us and how in a beautifully circular way they continue to live through us and us through them.

Lace Thief's work has previously been described as ‘dreamy-alt rock’ with ‘pure folk’ undertones and ‘layers of instrumentation and harmonies’ with a voice that's ‘crisp intensity demands attention’. Influenced by artists such as Soko, Beach House and Youth Lagoon, Lace Thief draws from her poetic origins moving between song and prose.
